The Andhra Pradesh Three Capitals bill has come to the fore again. The government again passed the bill, which was sent to the Select Committee at the last Assembly session. It was once again introduced on Tuesday as part of the budget session and is expected to be moved to the Legislative Council on Wednesday. Opposition TDP is again plotting to block the bill as the party has a majority in the council. It is interesting what the ruling party is going to do to pass these bills.

With the bills coming to the legislature, the TDP has sharpened its tactics. TDP issued a whip to the MLCs and notices to defected MLCs Sivanadha Reddy, Potula Sunita, and P Shamanthakamani. The TDP whip issued a statement on behalf of the party to attend the voting in the council on Wednesday.

The government also decided to abolish the CRDA Act in the Legislative Council and prepared for the voting on decentralization bills. On the other hand, Chandrababu said how these bills would be brought into the council when they are still pending in the council. He also reiterated that they have no second thought on the capital Amaravati. It remains to be how the council proceedings will take place today.
