TDP did not ask permission for Chalo Atmakur says Guntur SP
Guntur: The Guntur Rural SP Jayalakshmi has warned that they will not tolerate if law and order situation is being interrupted in the Palnadu region.
She said that the TDP leaders did not even ask for permission for Chalo Atmakur rally. Though YSRCP leaders have sought permission, it was turned down over law and order issue.
SP added that strict action would be taken if the rules are violated and strong police bandobast is carried out across the Guntur district.
Jayalakshim has interacted with media in Guntur on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the tension atmosphere continues to prevail in Guntur. The police have arrested the protesting TDP leaders.
In a competitive way, the TDP and YCP leaders have launched Chalo Atmakur. In this context, the police have made all necessary security arrangments to prevent unwanted incidents. As part of a preventative measure, several TDP leaders including Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh, and other MLAs and MP were kept in house arrest.
