Support Jagan to bring back YSR’s golden rule

Kadapa/Ongole: While terming the rule of Y S Rajasekhar Reddy as golden era, YSR Congress Party honorary president YS Vijayamma appealed to the people to support Jaganmohan Reddy with the aim of bringing back his father's rule in the State.

Before launching electioneering, Vijayamma paid tributes at the memorial of YS Rajasekhar Reddy at Idupulapaya. Later, addressing the media persons, she said that her son was with the public for 10 years to know their problems during bitter rule of Chandrababu Naidu.

Vijayamma said that she had witnessed the rule of both YS Rajasekhar Reddy and Chandrababu Naidu and felt that people are feeling unsafe in TDP rule. The State government failed to implement welfare schemes properly, she alleged.

The YSRCP honorary president charged that people have lost confidence in TDP and the State government extended the benefits of welfare schemes only to TDP activists in the name of Janmabhoomi committees. "Corruption has become common practice in every government department.

Common people are not able to represent their grievances to the officials," she complained. While campaigning in Prakasam district, Vijayamma said that YSRCP works for the welfare of the public. She participated in the public meetings held at Kandukur, Kanigiri, and Markapuram in Prakasam district on Friday.

Addressing the meeting, Vijayamma said the elections are between the justice and injustice, values and deceitful politics. She asked them to remember the rule of Rajasekhar Reddy and assured that Jaganmohan Reddy will deliver the same type of welfare to the people. She demanded CBI inquiry on the murder of YS Vivekananda Reddy.

She explained the welfare programmes and schemes planned by the party when YSRCP forms the government. She said that the government will give Rs 12,500 as income support, zero interest loans, 9 hours of free electricity to bore wells supplied for free to the farmers, Rs 7 lakh insurance to the farmers, price stabilisation fund with Rs 3000 crore, cold storages in every mandal, YSR Asara for DWCRA women, easy loans from the corporations for the SC, ST and BCs, free education from LKG to PG, Rs 15,000 monetary help to mothers for sending their two children to school.
