Sports meet for patients held at Narayanadri Hospitals

Tirupati: Annual sports meet was conducted at Narayanadri Hospitals, Tirupati on Sunday for patients who have undergone knee joint and hip joint replacement surgeries in the hospital. A free cardiac health check-up was also done for those patients who have participated in sports events. On this occasion, an awareness programme was held for general public on joint replacement surgeries.

The Managing Director and Chief Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement surgeon Dr V Sunanda Kumar Reddy explained about why and how the patients get joint pains, how their joints will be damaged and the ways to prevent them etc.,

About 50 patients who have undergone joint replacement surgeries earlier took part in the sports events. Hospital Chairman Dr SV Prasad, Dr Subba Rao, Dr Prabhakar Rao, Chief Administrative Officer Subramanyam took part in the programme.
