QIS professors complete robotics workshop in Germany
Ongole: The QIS College of Engineering and Technology secretary and correspondent N Surya Kalyan Chakravarthy announced that two of their staff has participated in the robotics workshop in Germany and successfully completed the hands-on training for 10 days.
The chairman of Nidamanuru Educational Trust, Nidamanuri Nageswara Rao said that the QISCET is one of the 45 skill centres established by the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Board. He said that German centre for advanced engineering and management has selected two of his staff, associate professor in electronics and communications engineering S Sarath Chandra and assistant professor in mechanical engineering R Srinivasulu, for a two month online course in applied robotics and invited them for a 10-day hands-on training at Germany.
He said that the German scientists explained the professors about the functionality of latest technologies in robotics with examples. He said that as the robotics is gaining popularity among the students and they should be provided with knowledge by professors, they encouraged their staff to go for the training.
In the special appreciation programme held in the college, the chairman Nageswara Rao also announced that they are going to establish a skill centre with robotics, by investing on the costly equipment.
He along with the secretary Surya Kalyan Chakravarthy, Principal Dr Dhulipalla Venkatarao, Skill Development director for the college Dr Bujjibabu, HoD of mechanical engineering Dr Y Sesharao and others also appreciated the professors for successful completion of the training and receiving certificates from the German centre for advanced engineering and management.
