QISCET Ongole gets NBA accreditation 3rd time
Ongole: President of the Nidamanuri Educational Society Nidamanuri Nageswara Rao and principal of the QIS College of Engineering and Technology Dr Kilari Veeraswamy announced that their college received accreditation from the National Board of Accreditation for the third time in a row and became the first college in the district to achieve the same.
Nageswara Rao said that the specific engineering programme in the QIS College of Engineering and Technology received three years of accreditation from NBA after renewing for the period from 2017-18 to 2019-20.
The expert team from the NBA inspected the college and verified the state-of-the-art infrastructure and opportunities available for the students in the QISCET, he added. He said that the NBA accredited engineering degree was more valuable than the engineering degree without the accreditation.
Veeraswamy said that the NBA accredited the Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering and Mechanical Engineering branches in the college up to 2019-20. He said that this NBA accreditation to the engineering program helps the students in the career and speaks about the quality of education they received at the QISCET.
He said that this NBA accreditation also helps the college to get more number of seats in the branches and encourages applying for the same to other branches also.
