Postings given to 460 women cops: SP

Kurnool: As many as 460 applicants selected for Mahila Police under Grama Sachivalayam were given posting orders on Tuesday at Police Parade grounds. Superintendent of Police Dr Fakkeerappa Kaginelli and Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), M Deepika Patil handed over the posting orders to the women constables.

On the occasion, SP said that posting orders were given based on the places selected by the applicants. Vacancies have been displayed on LED screen with three options to select. As desired and selected by the candidate, the orders have been served, said the SP.

He further said the applicants who got orders have to report to the concerned Sachivalayam secretary besides to the Sub Inspector of Police of the concerned mandal. The candidates who received the posting order copies will report to duties from October 2nd, added the SP.
