NGO's asked to improve shelter amenities for homeless

Kakinada: KMC commissioner K Ramesh advised the night shelter organising NGOs to improve amenities to the homeless at these shelters. Reviewing the performance of these at the review meet organised at municipal corporation office on Friday, the commissioner said that these shelters which have been started for homeless, should be a place for comfortable stay at nights for these sections.

There should not be any deviations from the purpose for which these centres have been established. Later the commissioner visited the quality control lab and inspected the infrastructure in the lab to assess the quality of ongoing works in the smart city.
