Kodali Nani praises YS Jagan for launching free crop insurance, takes a dig at Chandrababu
Kodali Nani, Minister for Civil Supplies, said that Chief Minister YS Jagan was credited with introducing welfare schemes for all sections. He told the media on Tuesday that good governance was aimed at the welfare of farmers, the poor, women and social classes. "Today, the CM provided an in-kind subsidy for rain-damaged crops. So far no government in the country has compensated so quickly," he said. Nani tool potshots at Chandrababu and Lokesh terming them of zoom politics.
Apart from providing affordable prices to farmers, CM Jagan is credited with setting up price stabilization at Rs 3,600 crore. Kodali Nani said that Naidu is striving only for 29 villages in Amaravati. "On December 25, we will distribute 30 lakh houses in the state to the poor; Chandrababu was the villain who brought the stay through the courts at a cost of Rs 25 crore even though it was decided to give it on March 30 this year," Kodali Nani said.
He said that on the day of Sankranthi festival, 9,260 subsidised vehicles will be provided to ST, SC, BC, Minority and OBC youth through the respective corporations, " Kodali Nani said.
