Kadapa: State will extend all help to cyclone victims says MLA S Raghurami Reddy
Kadapa: Mydukuru MLA S Raghurami Reddy has said that the government will extend all help to the cyclone Nivar victims in the constituency.
Addressing media after inspecting damaged crops in Maduru, Annavaram, Peddachiyyapadu villages in Chapadu mandal on Sunday, the MLA said Mydukuru constituency was worst affected in the entire district. Stating crops in 10,000 acres were damaged in Chapadu mandal, the MLA assured the farmers that he will try to get maximum input subsidy by bringing the issue to the notice of chief minister.
Meanwhile Rajampet MP P Midhun Reddy along with Rajampet MLA M Mallikarjuna Reddy, party in-charge Amarnath Reddy inspected Pincha project which was partially damaged due to cyclone. The MP said that it will not be possible for any government to restrict the disasters completely. He said state has effectively faced the Nivar cyclone.
Meanwhile the heavy rains damaged agriculture and horticulture crops in thousands of acres in Pulivendula, Rajampet and Railway Kodur mandals where the farmers cultivated banana and papaya crops.
