Former Guntur MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao falls sick and admitted in hospital
Former MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao has suffered a serious illness on Thursday night and was rushed to a private hospital in Hyderabad. Currently, as per the sources, the health condition of the former minister is said to be stable. Rayapati Sambasiva Rao is reportedly staying in Hyderabad from last two months amid lockdown imposed due to Coronavirus pandemic. Meanwhile, the TDP leaders have reportedly telephoned the family members over the health condition of Rayapati Sambasiva Rao and assured them of support.
The CBI is investigating the cases pertaining to Rayapati's company Transtroy alleging it for not paying returns of the bank loans. It is known that Rayapati Sambasiva Rao has acquired Polavaram project and took loans.
In an interesting turn, the CBI also inquiring on the Malayalam actress Mariapal for allegedly claiming herself as a CBI officer and trying to dupe Rayapati under the pretext of closing all the CBI cases. However, the CBI found that Mariapal and her boyfriend, Sukesh Chandrasekhar to be behind the threats and launched probe.
