East Godavari Collector gesture to Srikakulam, Odisha State

Kakinada: East Godavari District Collector Karthikeya Mishra said that special assistance is being sent to Srikakulam district and to Odisha state from the district, which faced the brunt of cyclone Fani.

The Collector on Friday said that arrangements have been made to send 100 generators and 100 power saws to Srikakulam and 4 lakh water packets, chlorine tablets and relief material and food items such as biscuits and bread will be sent to Odisha state from Rajamahendravaram with the Indian Navy assistance, as per the directions of the Centre. The assistance of NGOs and voluntary organisations also being taken in this issue, the collector said.
