Dr Kodela Siva Prasada Rao and his advocate tried to stop the officials and not allowed them to search for furniture. Assembly Assistant secretary Raj said that they have orders from Assembly secretary. The advocate warned that if they conduct searches without warrant, they will go to court.

Due to non-availability of keys of second and fourth floors, they did not conduct searches. It may be mentioned that Dr Kodela Siva Prasada Rao agreed to pay value of furniture to the government and accepted that he had shifted furniture to his house.

Meanwhile, AP Skill Development Officer Shaik Baji lodged a complaint against Kodela Sivaram in Sattenpalli police station on Friday.
