APNGOs-JAC stages protest demonstrations in Vijayawada
Vijayawada: The leaders and members of AP NGOs-JAC sported black badges at the Panchayat Raj office, MG road here on Friday, demanding that the government solve their long pending issues and do justice to them. The NGO's including teachers, pensioners and others participated in the protest.
Speaking to the media, the AP NGOs-JAC state president Chandrasekhara Reddy said that the State government was using delaying tactics by forming committees instead of solving their problems. He demanded that the government release PRC from 2018 July along with the release of DA immediately.
He recalled that the promise of cancelling CPS within one week of coming to power was not fulfilled. Except deputing committees, nothing was done so far. He further said that the State government should regularize contract workers and provide job security to outsourcing employees, and pay salaries on first day of every month. He also recalled that salaries were not being paid on time for the past three months.
He demanded that the government remove negative marking system in tests conducted for promotions and five additional holidays to female employees. APNGO-JAC state secretary, leaders and others were present.
