Just In
The days of losing sleep to finish all the interesting web series on OTT platforms are over.
The days of losing sleep to finish all the interesting web series on OTT platforms are over. Thanks to coronavirus, we have ample time at our disposal. We might as well make time to watch those in the extra time we get which was earlier used for commuting to and from work.
While most TV channels are doing reruns of their most popular shows, OTT platforms which have registered record viewership and impressions in the last few months of lockdown are busy churning out one new show after the other.
Why talk about the West, Indian filmmakers are coming up with novel ideas to make the most of the lockdown period by producing some of the best web series we have seen till date. And guess what? The part is we don't have to spent years to know what happens in the end which happened in case of mega serials. Each episode is divided into seasons and episodes restricted to a maximum of 20 in most cases.
Filmmakers are also making a quick buck by doing this. Actors who didn't have enough opportunities earlier too are being approached by short filmmakers and web series makers to be part of these web series. Isn't that good? Well, while the economy is falling on the one side it seems to be looking up for others who were out of work.
