Yadagirigutta: Government Whip Sunitha distributes tractors to Gram Panchayats
Government Whip and Aler MLA Gongidi Sunitha distributed the sanctioned tractors to respective Sarpanches of various Gram Panchayats in Yadagirigutta mandal on Monday.
Yadagirigutta: Government Whip and Aler MLA Gongidi Sunitha distributed the sanctioned tractors to respective Sarpanches of various Gram Pranchayats in Yadagirigutta mandal on Monday.
Addressing on the occasion, she said that the distributed tractors will be used to dump the collected litter from every household of the village at the dumping yard of the respective village.
It is the duty of Gram Panchayats to keep their villages clean by collecting litter regularly. Besides Gram Panchayats, villagers have equal responsibility to maintain cleanliness in the villages, she added.
She advised Sarpanches to continue the sanitation works in the villages which were started during the 30- day gram action plan execution.
Later she conducted review meeting with RWS officials and local body representatives on the progress of mission Bagiratha works in Yadagirigutta mandal.
She directed the officials to provide safe drinking water to every household in the mandal under Mission Bagiratha scheme and suggested people's representatives to drink the Mission Bagirtah water to instill confidence in people.
MPP Chera Srisilam, ZPTC T Anuradha, Sarpanches K Venkataiah, T Beeraiah, B Anuradha, MPDO Prabhakar Reddy , RWS AE Supriya, MPTC Aruna and others were present. Government Whip and Aler MLA Gongidi Sunitha felt that it is important to keep clean surroundings to maintain a healthy atmosphere in the villages and to avoid epidemic diseases as well as mosquito bites.
