Yadadri–Bhongir: Three chain snatchers held

On Friday, producing the arrested persons before the media during a press meet held at Bhongir, the DCP said that Surampudi Venkataramana, who was running a nursery along with two others, started chain-snatchings to get easy money and lead a lavish life.
The DCP informed that all the three offenders are natives of Rajamundry of neighbouring Andhra Pradesh and added that they were wanted in several chain-snatching cases registered under Bibinagar and Valigonda mandal police stations in the district.
The offenders fled from the spot at Padamativarigudem of Valigonda mandal when a woman screamed during the snatching three days ago. On Friday morning, the offenders were caught by the police during the vehicle checks at Gokaram village in the said mandal.
