Yadadri-Bhongir:: Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy inaugurates science fair, SAKHI centre

Yadadri-Bhongir: Minister for Energy G Jagadish Reddy advised the teachers to bring out the hidden talents of students in order to make them future scientists of the country. On Wednesday, along with Zilla Parishad Chairman A Sandeep Reddy and District Collector Anitha Ramachandran, the Minister inaugurated the district-level science fair at Mother Teresa High School in Bhongir.

He felt that answers come from questions and subsequently technology ideas come from the answers. He advised the students to put ideas into practical form to enhance their knowledge. He suggested the teachers to identify the students ideas and encourage them with proper guidelines.

"None is born a scientist. Students with creative thinking and experiment attitude become scientists," the Minister underlined.

He expressed his pleasure over exhibiting 300 working and non-working models by the students of various schools at the science fair. Later, Jagadish Reddy inaugurated SAKHI centre (one stop crisis centre) at LIG Housing Board Colony in Bhongir established by district Integrated Child Development Services, whose main aim is provide justice to women victims of various issues.

MLC Narsi Reddy, Government Whip Gongidi Sunitha, MLA Gadari Kishore, District Education Officer Chaitanya Jaini, District Library Chairman Amarender Goud, local public representatives, school students and women participated in the programmes held on the day.
