On Wednesday, he visited the Pangidi village in Raghunadhapalem mandal and urged the villagers to keep premises of their houses clean besides taking part in programmes.
Stating that for the betterment of villages Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had conceptualised the action plan, Puvvada said every village should set up a garbage dumping yard and burial grounds.
Later, the Minister distributed Bathukamma sarees among the women in the village. "The Chief Minister like an elder brother is giving sarees to all women in the State for the Dasara festival," he said, adding that women were happy with the Chief Minister's kind gesture and blessing him. The Minister on the occasion planted saplings in Ramkya Thanda.
Khammam Agricultural Marketing Committee Chairman M Venkat Raman, Mandal Parishad Development Officer V Sai Charan, Tahsildar Srinivas Rao, ZPTC Priyanka, MPTC B Gouri and others attended the programme.
