Woman injured as car hits her while crossing road in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a woman sustained severe injuries when a speeding car collided with her while crossing the road at SR Nagar in Hyderabad. The car dragged the woman for some distance, where the locals noticed and immediately rushed her to a local hospital.

Going into details, a woman named Alekhya was crossing the road at SR Nagar area on Monday after reaching the middle of the way she got confused and hit with a man on the bike. With this, he lost control and fell on the ground.

At that time, a speeding car which was coming from behind has collided with them. In this context, Alekhya has come under the car front wheels, which pulled her for some distance.

The locals who noticed her stopped the vehicle. In the accident, Alekhya suffered severe injuries and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital.

Upon receiving the information, the police reached the spot and examined the CCTV footage. On the incident, the police have registered a case, took the lady driver into their custody and investigating further.
