Warangal: In view of Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) Minister K T Rama Rao's proposed visit to Warangal on October 5, Urban District Collector Prashanth Jeevan Patil inspected the progress of work on Bhadrakali Bund promenade here on Wednesday.
The Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA) chairman Marri Yadava Reddy, Vice-Chairman and GWMC Commissioner N Ravi Kiran and KUDA Project Officer E Ajit Reddy were among others who inspected the works.
It may be mentioned here that the construction of 1.1 km long bund is being carried under the Smart City project with an outlay of Rs 25 crore. Speaking to media persons, Prashant Jeevan Patil said that beautification work on Bhadrakali Bund promenade is almost completed and it's ready for inauguration. He said that they have instructed the contractor to complete the pending work before the inauguration.
