Voters urged to exercise their franchise without fail
District Collectors and election officers of Nalgonda and Yadadri-Bhongir districts have made all necessary arrangements for Nalgonda and Bhongir Parliamentary elections to be held on Thursday.

As part of election arrangements, the respective polling staff reached their allotted polling stations with election material. District Collector Gaurav Uppal inspected the distribution of election material of Nalgonda constituency at the NG College in Nalgonda town.
In seven Assembly constituencies Nalgonda, Miryalguda, Nagarjunasagar, Devarakonda, Huzurnagar, Kodad and Suryapet of Nalgonda MP constituency as many as 15.85 lakh voters are going to cast their votes. In this connection, as many as 1997 polling centres including the seven special polling centres were established. As many as 9,234 polling staff including 2,258 polling officers, 2,258 assistant polling officers, 4,516 other polling officers, 202 micro observers woud rendering their services on the day.
District police along with central forces are taking care of security arrangements at polling stations to avoid any untoward incidents on polling day.
Similarly in seven Assembly constituencies Janagaon, Aler, Bhongir, Tungaturthi, Munugodu, Nakrekal and Ibrahimpatnam of Bhongir MP constituency as many as 18.27 lakh voters are going to cast their votes. In this connection, as many as 2,073 polling centres were established in Bhongir MP territorial.
Along with central forces, Rachakonda police are looking after the security arrangements at all the polling stations to avoid any untoward incidents on the polling day.
Speaking to media, Nalgonda and Bhongir MP constituencies election officers Gaurav Uppal and Anita Ramachandran requested the voters to bring their identity cards along with voters slips for casting the vote. They further informed that penal action would be taken against those who come to polling centre to cast their votes in an inebriated state.
