Protesting women expressed their anguish over the water woes and questioned the government about the status of its flagship programme Mission Bagiratha and rememinded the promises of ruling party leaders during the Assembly, Parliament and local body elections campaign.

They demanded officials and people's representatives to address their water woes on war footing.

They withdrew their protest on assurance of the local body leaders.
