Villagers protest at wine shop accusing it of selling spurious liquor in Yadadri-Bhongir

Choutuppal (Yadadri-Bhongir): The villagers of Dandumalkapuram of Choutuppal mandal in the district on Tuesday staged a protest in front of Sri Kanakadurga Wine Shop accusing the management of the shop selling spurious liquor.

The youngsters, who started the protest, were joined by the villagers who extended their support to the protestors. Upon receiving information, Excise police led by Circle Inspector Naga Latha rushed to the village and found 24 cartons of liquor belonging to the wine shop at a local grocery shop during the raids and seized the wine shop.
