Hyderabad: The indefinite strike by over 48,000 RTC employees entered 51st day on Sunday with women staff staging dharna at the Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station in city and other depots across the State.

The striking employees all over the State continued their protests in support of their demands while thousands of people were seen stranded at bus stations and stops across the State.

Thanking the TSRTC staff for continuing the strike relentlessly despite suppression by the government, RTC JAC convener K Ashwathama Reddy said the RTC workers would stage protests with "Save RTC" placards at all bus depots and bus stages in the State on Monday.

Demanding that the State government allow the employees to resume their duties unconditionally, Ashwathama Reddy said Chief Minister's silence was atrocious and anti-working class.

On the other hand, it was speculated that the Chief Minister might review the situation on Monday.

RTC JAC which announced that they would announce their future course of action on Sunday also put off their plans awaiting response from the CM after which action plan would be announced.
