Warangal: Communist Party of India (CPI) Warangal Urban district secretary Mekala Ravi has said that the TRS government is bound to face the wrath of people for his failure to fulfil their aspirations. Leading a protest before the Urban district collectorate here on Monday, he said that TRS government totally failed to protect the interests of the people.

"The TRS MPs failed to exert pressure on the Central government in getting green signal for Railway wagon unit in Kazipet," he said. The TRS president and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, who promised to provide double bedroom houses to poor, needs to answer how far he succeeded, he demanded. The TRS' promise to give three acres land to Dalits is not being implemented, he said.

Senior CPI leader and former MLA Potharaju Saraiah demanded the State government to come up with industries in the district to help the unemployed youth get jobs. The leaders submitted a memorandum to Urban District Collector Prashanth Jeevan Patil.

The memorandum included demands such as... granting rights to podu cultivators, reforming revenue laws, waiver of crop loans to the extent of Rs 1 lakh, bringing all farmers including tenant farmers under the ambit of Rythu Bandhu, speeding up of Mega Textile Park works, upgradation of MGM Hospital, establishment of super speciality hospitals in Narsampet, Wardhannapet and Parkal etc.

Senior leaders P Prasad, Sheikh Bashamiya, Bussa Ravi, U Ramulu, A Srinivas, G Ramesh, B Mallaiah, Jakkula Raju, K Chiranjeevi, Sudarshan, G Rohith, aresh Dravid, G Badri, D Laxman and J Ravi were among others present.
