TRS cheated people with false promises: CPI

Following the party State committee call, the district party leaders and activists staged a dharna in front of the Collectorate here on Monday and later submitted a memorandum to District Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed. Chada Venkat Reddy pointed out that the TRS government has totally neglected the farming sector present in the State.
Farmers took loans and purchased seeds and fertilizers and did the farm work during the Kharif season. But the seeds didn't germinate owing to lack of rains, making the farmers worry, he said.
Poor and middle-class people living in towns and cities are facing lot of problems as they are living in rented houses as they have neither own house nor site. The TRS government promised them of constructing double bedroom houses for such people but didn't allotted even a single bedroom to anyone till date.
The revenue offices became as the centre for corruption and many irregularities took place in land records reformation, he criticised. The CPI leader demanded the TRS government fulfilment of all its poll promises along with allotting 2BHK houses to all eligible poor families and to bring new revenue policy after discussing with all party leaders. He also asked to waive off farm loans immediately.
CPI leaders Andeswamy, P Kedari, Shoba Rani, Srujan Kumar, Lakshmi, Sammaiah, Srinivas, Mahendar, Raji Reddy, Manikanta Reddy, Ramesh, Laklshma Reddy, Thirupathi, Buchhanna, Anji Reddy, Satyanarayana,Sridhar Reddy, Ugandhar, Patel, Komaraiah and Vasudev were present along with others.
