Nagarkurnool: The internal fight between two groups led by former Minister Jupally Krishna Rao and the present Kollapur MLA Harshavardhan Reddy, who had recently joined the TRS party, had now come into open with one group blaming the other over the issue of not getting B-forms for some of the candidates of the respective groups for the MPTC elections from various mandals under Kollapur constituency.

On Wednesday, Bangaraiah, one of the supporters of MPTC contestant Bichhaiah, who is said to be the supporter of Kollapur MLA Harshavardhan Reddy, poured petrol on himself and threatened to commit suicide if Bichhaiah of Kudikilla village was not given B-form to contest as TRS candidate for Kollapur MPTC post.

It is said that the supporters of Harshavardhan Reddy are not happy over the attitude of TRS party higher-ups who have preferred to give B-forms to the member supported by former minister Jupally Krishna Rao and sidelined the candidates supported by the Harshavardhan Reddy camp.

Overall, with differences between the two groups of TRS cadres, it can be said that all is not well for TRS party in Kollapur and it may face tough time in helping its candidates win the elections as the brewing differences between the party workers can cast an adverse impact on the election outcome, observed political analysts.
