Hyderabad: Passengers travelling between the city and airport have to use alternate routes from April 22 onwards as the traffic police imposed traffic restrictions on the PVNR Expressway.

The PVNR Expressway entry points at Aramghar (Agriculture College Gate) and Shivarampally Up Ramp will be closed in connection with black topping work of the road for entire expressway duly removing the existing BT from April 22 till completion of the work.

Hence, commuters are not allowed on the expressway towards Hyderabad city under the limits of Rajendranagar Traffic PS. However, the traffic moving towards Aramghar, Shamshabad, RGIA (Rajiv Gandhi International Airport) can use the Expressway from Hyderabad city as usual.

A traffic advisory was issued for the convenience of the general public. The commuters coming from RGI Airport, Shamshabad may proceed towards Hyderabad city under the Expressway via Aramghar-Shivarampally-PDP X Road-Upparpally-Hyderguda-Attapur-Rethibowli-Mehdipatnam.

Also, commuters coming from Chandrayangutta and Zoo Park Road (Bahadurpura), Shivarampally may proceed towards Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad city under the PVNR Expressway via Shivarpally-PDP X
