Vikarabad: District Collector Ayesha Masrat Khanam directed the MPDOs to complete the identification of places for dump yards and construction of ongoing works. She reviewed on the status of dumping yards, Haritha Haram, construction of toilets, here at Collectorate on Friday.

The Collector said new tractors and trolley autos would be procured for all villages. Dry and wet waste should be collected from the households and shift to dumping yards, she said.

Ayesha said that DRCs should be strengthened in all villages and plastic waste should be transported to there. The Collector emphasised on protecting the saplings, planted during the Haritha Haram.

The payments would be made for the construction of toilets which would be completed before October 31, she added. ZP CEO Krishna, DPO Rizwan, additional PD Rajendra Prasad, MPDOs, APDOs, ECs and others were present.
