Three-tier security for EVMs at strongroom: Cyberabad top cop

Three-tier security arrangements made for the security of EVMs at strongrooms with Central forces. In the first-tier Central armed forces will guard, in the second-tier barricades are arranged and Cyberabad Armed Reserve police guard them and in the third tier security Law and Order civil police will guard the strongrooms.
They will monitor the situation through CCTVs surveillance and recording round the clock till May 23. CP V C Sajjanar said EVMs belonging to 7 Assembly segments namely Rajendranagar, Chevella, Serilingampally, Tandur, Parigi, Vikarabad and Maheshwaram of Chevella Parliamentary constituency were shifted to the centre with heavy security.
He said no person is allowed nearer to the strongrooms and on the counting day 144 Section will be in force upto 200 meters radius around the counting centre. The counting will be held at BC welfare residential college and Tribal welfare women's college on May 23.
