Telugu actor hurt in road accident at Kodad

Kodad (Suryapet): A television actor met with an accident on national highway-65 on Komarabanda outskirts of Kodad town on Tuesday early hours.

According to sources, Chalaki Chanti, of a Telugu show Jabardast, was heading towards Hyderabad from Vijayawada when the car he was travelling in hit a lorry on its rear side. In this incident, the front portion of the car was completely damaged and Chanti, who was seated in the front, suffered minor injuries as the airbags opened during the accident.

He was shifted to government hospital in Kodad for treatment. After first aid, he left for Hyderabad in another vehicle. Kodad police registered a case and started the probe.
