In view of the unprecedented rain situation prevailing in the State caused by Cyclone Gulab, there will be no sitting of Assembly till September 30, and the House would resume on October 1.

The members have made a request to the Speaker to adjourn the sitting of the ongoing session, which is scheduled to meet on Tuesday.

This request has been made in view of the fact that the members have to participate in the rescue and relief operations, oversee the grievances and extend support to the people of their respective constituencies.

The Speaker after holding consultations with the Leader of the House and the Floor leaders in the House has rescheduled the sitting and adjourned the House to meet again on October 1, at 10 am, said Telangana Legislature secretary V Narasimha Charyulu.
