Telangana No intention to include Covid under Aarogyasri: Eatala Rajender

Hyderabad: Telangana has no intention to bring coronavirus under Aarogyasri diseases list. After the neighboring Andhra Pradesh State included coronavirus under the health insurance scheme for the poor, there has been some talk on this in Telangana too.

However, Health Minister Eatala Rajender said that there is no need to include the novel coronavirus treatment under Aarogyasri as the government itself is offering treatment free of cost in Gandhi and soon to be inaugurated TIMS, Gachibowli. The government is also making arrangements in all district and area hospitals to admit moderate cases that require hospitalisation.
