Take measures to protect government lands: Nirmal Collector M Prashanthi
District Collector M Prashanthi told the revenue officers to take special action to protect the government lands in the district.
Nirmal: District Collector M Prashanthi told the revenue officers to take special action to protect the government lands in the district. Addressing a review meeting on Land Records Updation Programme (LRUP) and other cases at the Collector's conference hall in Nirmal on Tuesday, she ordered tahsildars to identify government lands according to survey number.
She also told them to put up a board stating that the land belongs to government and to construct fencing around the land. The Collector also asked them to submit a proposal about the expenditure for setting up a board and fencing for all the government lands in the district. LRUP should be completed in faster way and special measures should be taken to prevent encroachment of government lands, she added.
Joint Collector A Bhaskar Rao, Revenue Divisional Officer Someshwar, RDOs Prasunamba, Raju, E district Manager Nadeem Khan, Collector Administrative Officer Kareem and others were present.
