Tahsildars told to conduct village meetings to address land issues in Yadadri-Bhongir
District Collector Anita Ramachandran directed the Tahsildars to conduct meetings in all villages in their respective mandals and sort out the land issues of farmers.

On Friday, along with Joint Collector Ramesh, she conducted a meeting with Tahsildars in the Collectorate.
Speaking on the occasion, she advised the Tahsildars to conduct village- wise meetings from morning 9 to afternoon 1 in their respective mandals. She instructed them to prepare a comprehensive plan and inform about the meetings, date and time to villagers well in advance to make the programme a grand success.
She directed the officials to submit day-wise reports to respective RDOs and directed them to initiate repairs to village ponds with the help of irrigation staff and decide the boundaries of ponds in order to increase the capacity of water storage.
She stated that Tahsildars have to take the responsibility of addressing the land issues transparently as majority of applications were received on land issues during Grievance Day programme.
Bhongir RDO Venkateshwarlu, special deputy collector Vijay Kumar and others attended the meeting.
