SVS Medical College bus hits water tanker, 15 doctors injured in Mahbubnagar

Mahbubnagar: The SVS Medical College bus ferrying doctors from SVS Medical College in Mahbubnagar to Hyderabad met with an accident at Gollapally village near Lalitambika Temple on National Highway 44 on Tuesday. According to eyewitnesses, the speeding bus hit a tractor-cum-water tanker on its rear side while it was crossing the highway at the Lalitambika Temple at Gollapally village on the highway. It is said the bus driver was at a very high speed. Unable to control the speed, the bus rammed into the water tanker, causing severe injuries to the bus driver.
The 15 medicos travelling in the bus were also injured and were immediately shifted to the nearby hospital for treatment. The condition of the bus driver is said to be very critical. The Jadcherla police reached the spot and registered a case and investigating the matter.
