Suryapet: With the demand to withdraw decision with regard to cancellation of post-graduate courses in degree colleges, the members of Students Federation of India, All India Students Federation and Progressive Democratic Students Union tried to lay siege to the residence of Education Minister G Jagadish Reddy in Suryapet on Monday. However, police foiled their attempt and shifted them to police station after taking them into their custody.

Speaking to the media, district presidents of the student unions P Kiran, S Nagaraju and S Upender expressed their concern over the State government's decision of cancellation of PG courses in government degree collages across the State.
