Nothing is waste in this world as students showcased the wonders of recycling by using waste materials at “Best out of Waste” competition held at NTPC-Ramagundam on Thursday as part of environment month celebration.

Ramagundam: Nothing is waste in this world as students showcased the wonders of recycling by using waste materials at "Best out of Waste" competition held at NTPC-Ramagundam on Thursday as part of environment month celebration. A total of 294 students from four NTPC Township schools and seven nearby Government High Schools participated and presented their creative models. Spouses of NTPC and CISF employees also participated in the event with their creative works, mostly using old and waste materials.

Jury members CMO Dr Sasmita Dash and AGM (IT) Anil Kumar V from NTPC-Ramagundam evaluated the creative designs.

During this occasion, BC Polai, GM (Operation) and Soumendra Das, GM (Maintenance & FM) visited the Best out of the Waste models and appreciated all the participants, particularly children for their concern for environment and creativeness.

ERP Raju, DGM and his team members from EMG department, NTPC senior officials, representatives from State Pollution Control Board, parents of children, teachers and others attended the event in large numbers.
