District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini on Friday felicitated the students of Ashram and Gurukul schools who bagged top grades in the recent SSC exams held in the State.
Bhadrachalam: District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini on Friday felicitated the students of Ashram and Gurukul schools who bagged top grades in the recent SSC exams held in the State.
Speaking at the felicitation programme organised by the Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) at a private function hall in Bhadrachalam on Friday, the Collector lauded the students for their effort. He stated that the pass percentage in the current academic year has increased when compared to previous year. "The government is providing all facilities to the students. They should make use of them and build a golden future for them," the Collector said, wishing all the good luck to the students in their future endeavours.
Speaking on the occasion, ITDA Project Officer VP Gowtham said SSC is the turning point in every student's life and they should carefully plan their future by picking up the courses that suit their interests. Adding that ITDA was fully concentrating to develop the education system in the district, Gowtham informed that this year the agency has conducted special communicative English classes for the SSC students.
The PO on the occasion appreciated the teachers and parents of the students and suggested the teachers to continue their good work. Later, the Collector and the PO joined the students for the lunch.
Deputy Director (Tribal Welfare) Zahiruddin, Project Monitoring In-charge Rangaiah, headmasters of Ashram and Gurukul schools, students and parents attended the programme.
