Nirmal: Endowments Minister Allola Indrakaran Reddy on Thursday said that the Sakhi centre are being established to provide courage, immediate justice to women victims.
He was addressing the gathering after laying foundation stone for the construction of Sakhi centre building at an estimated cost of Rs.48 lakhs at Divya Nagar in Nirmal district.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that to help the women victims who are in problems, to give courage and moral support Sakhi centers are functioning.
District Collector M Prashanthi said these centers government will provide law assistance, medical services, police services, temporary shelter, vehicle facility and also counseling services will be given to the women victims. He urged the victims to utilise the services.
