Hyderabad: The TSRTC JAC leaders would be going to the office of the Assistant Labour Commissioner in the form of a rally on Thursday to submit a letter specifying that they have called off the strike and to direct the management to take back the employees into duties.
The JAC leaders have drafted a letter stating that the unions had called off 52 days strike on November 25 and the same was informed to RTC in-charge MD and Labour Commissioner. The JAC leaders mentioned that the management was not allowing them to perform duties without any reason and not furnishing any written orders.
Instead, the employees who are reporting for duties were arrested. Not allowing the employees to perform duties after calling off strike is an unfair labour practice, said the JAC leaders. They requested the commissioner to direct the management to permit all the employees to perform their duties.
The workers have been asked to protest at crossroads in their respective areas if they don't have labour offices in their localities. Meanwhile, the TSRTC workers continued their protests at their respective depots in districts demanding that the government should allow them to resume their duties on Wednesday.
Leaders of several trade unions also organised protests in support of the RTC crew. The CITU activists held a rally in the city along with the RTC workers. However, the police did not allow the RTC workers to resume their work.
