After a long 57 day strike, RTC JAC is all set to join the duties on Tuesday. The news came out after the RTC JAC leader Ashwathama Reddy made the statement of calling off the strike. He claimed that they decided in the wake of the High Court's verdict on the privatisation of the routes. The court has said that the government has full authority to go for Privitalsation under the Motor vehicle act 67 and 102.

The JAC leaders asked all the workers to join the duties by 6 am on Tuesday and requested the temporary employees to vacate the RTC premises. However, he made clear that if the govt denies their joining, the strike ould be continued. After a few petitions filed were heard in the court, the court has asked the RTC employees to move to the labour court.

Earlier, the RTC JAC has said they would call off strike if the govt would take all the employees into the jobs without any preconditions and finally, they have made the decision of joining the duties.

On the other hand, Telangana chief minsiter K Chandrasekhar Rao met the governor to discuss the RTC strike issue and privatisation of the routes. Hence with the panic over the meeting, the RTC JAC called oof strike and said to be joining the duties on Tuesday. RTC JAC head AShwathama Reddy said that they informed the transport commissioner and requested the govt to take a call on the RTC strike.
