Tandur: The Tandur constituency convenor of BC Association, Rajkumar, garlanded the portrait of Savitribai Pule on the occasion of her 123rd death anniversary here on Tuesday at Jyothiba Pule Residential School. After paying tributes, he said Savitribai strove for the uplift of marginalised sections. She carried out several agitations for educating women in those days, he added.
