Realtor complains to Hyderabad CP against Task Force sleuths
A realtor complained to City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar against the Commissionerate’s Task Force officials on Friday alleging extortion and illegal detention of him by them.
Hyderabad: A realtor complained to City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar against the Commissionerate's Task Force officials on Friday alleging extortion and illegal detention of him by them.
He urged the City Police Commissioner to take action against the Task Force DCP P Radha Kishan Rao, Sub-Inspector Ranjith, and three other constables in his team for entering into a civil matter and acted against him without any due process of law.
According to the complainant Ch Suman (33), a resident of Dwarakapuri Colony in Panjagutta, in his complaint alleged that on Wednesday at about 6:30 pm while he was outside Sub-Registrar Office in Shadnagar, a group of four men claiming themselves as Task Force police apprehended, snatched cell phone and took him in the vehicle to an unknown place around Patny Circle in Secunderabad.
He was kept under detention of Task Force DCP P Radha Kishan Rao and later after one hour a person by name Taqluddin Shajee came to the spot along with some bond and empty papers pasted with revenue stamps. He further alleged that police took his signatures and thumb impressions on bond and blank papers from him under force and coercion.Thereafter, he was released by them in the late-night hours.
The complainant in his complaint stated that he has financial transactions with Taqluddin Shajee from whom he received Rs 2 crore as an advance sale consideration with regard to the agriculture land admeasuring 23 acres situated at Kandhivanam village while acting as a mediator.
When the transaction failed due to change of mind of original owners, he offered Shajee to return money to him. Without accepting the money, he started threatening him and forced him to register his land admeasuring 4 acres at Kammadanam village in Shadnagar. He further said that Shajee offered him an additional Rs 2 crore on the date of registration of his land.
"As per agreement when he supposed to do registration on Wednesday and pay the balance Rs 2 crore to him. With the help of the Task Force police, he took signatures and thumb impressions forcibly," Suman alleged.
