TS SSC 2020: The Telangana government on Thursday submitted a detailed report to the High Court about the state's preparedness to hold SSC exams along with the COVID-19 norms including social distancing and other precautionary measures.

The bench comprising of RS Chauhan, justice Vijayasen Reddy asked the government if it's still want to conduct the exams in the state amid a rise in the coronavirus cases. Earlier, the high court gave a green signal on the conduct of SSC exams and adjourned the matter to June 4 to review the situation in the state.

However, the government's counsel BS Prasad told submitted a detailed report on the arrangements made in the districts on the conduct of exams in the state. He also told the court that the government is ready to give a video presentation on the arrangements being made for SSC exams. The matter has been adjourned to tomorrow.

Enhancement of exam centres from 2,530 to 4,535

No new hall tickets being given to students

Students have been notified of exam centres

Thermal screening kits, masks and gloves have been arranged at the exam centres

Around 4,535 medical officers have been deployed for each exam centre
