In view of Police Martyrs Day on October 21, the officials of the Police department organised district level quiz competitions in Jagitial district on Saturday.
Jagitial: In view of Police Martyrs Day on October 21, the officials of the Police department organised district level quiz competitions in Jagitial district on Saturday. Students from various schools participated in the competitions. The quiz competition was inaugurated by the District Superintendent of Police Sindhu Sharma.
The Quiz was on traffic rules and police related issues in which the around 60 students from six selected schools such as KGR, Manasa, Chukka Ramaiah, Chankya, Alphores and Sri Chaithanya High schools participated. Addressing on the occasion, SP Sindhu Sharma said that the services of the police personnel who lost their lives while discharging their duties cannot be forgotten. T
aking them as inspirations, the students must be committed to their duties and must focus on their studies to reach to the higher position in their life. "With determination and commitment, one can achieve his goals with ease", she advised the students.
The Sri Chaitanya School students won the prize, KGR School students bagged second and the Alphores E-Techno School students secured the third prize in the quiz competitions. The students will be presented the prizes on the occasion of Police Martyrs Day on October 21, she informed.
The IT Core inspector Arif Ali Khan, DCRB SI Ram Naik, Rural SI Satish, and students of various educational institutions were present on the occasion.
