Hyderabad's entrepreneur Dr Srinubabu Gedela received "Pride of the Nation Award" from Shri Rajnath Singh, Honorable Minister for Defence, Government of India on Sunday evening in a grand award ceremony held at NCC Auditorium, New Delhi. The award was given to him in recognition to his tireless social services and healthcare services to the Nation. Dr Gedela also recognised for one of the best jobs creator in the Nation, as he provided about 5,000 jobs to young life sciences graduates from seven SEZ Units at Hyderabad, Chennai, Gurgaon and Visakhaptnam.

Dr Srinubabu is a renowned scientist, an entrepreneur with post doctorate from Stanford University. He is also the CEO of Pulsus, managing seven SEZ Units with 5,000+ employees from Hyderabad, Chennai, Gurugram and Vishakapatnam. The company is into healthcare and health informatics meetings, and in publishing business in around 50 countries.

He was enormously appreciated for bringing healthcare, agricultural information to remotest corners of India in their preferred language with no cost to service.

He had also relentlessly supported over a Lakh (1,00,000) families during TiTli Cyclone in Andhra Pradesh by providing their basic needs like Rice bags blankets, Sari / Dhoti to each affected family. He is also working to create 1 million (10 lakhs) jobs in Uttara Andhra.

Dr. Gedela recipient of many international awards, also was awarded "Champions of Change" in 2018 by Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, Vice President of India in last December. This award was given to those who have ushered in refreshing changes in their districts through their commitment, dedication, creative interventions and innovation.
