Local MLA Podem Veeraiah distributed Kalyana Lakshmi cheques to 32 beneficiaries at the Tahsildar’s office in Charla on Tuesday.
Bhadrachalam: Local MLA Podem Veeraiah distributed Kalyana Lakshmi cheques to 32 beneficiaries at the Tahsildar's office in Charla on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, the MLA urged the people to utilise government schemes that were introduced and implemented for their betterment.
He discussed the ongoing development works with the Tahsildar and other officials, and stated that he would request the State government for funds to develop the mandal and to keep the poll promises.
Later, he visited Taliperu project and inspected the flood water levels. Among those who accompanied Podem were MPP Kodanda Ramaiah, ZPTC Irpa Santha, Tahsildar B Karunadas and other MPTC members.
