Hyderabad: As slowly Hyderabad is seeing the light of day and human activities have started and in spite of restriction of vehicles carrying 3 people, we could see two people plying in a two-wheeler, 3 to 4 people in the four-wheeler. People appeared to have forgotten the social distancing norms, as many people were seen rushing out in Kirana shops and wine shops. Many eyewitnesses said the norm that is laid by the government if it is not followed than darker days are awaiting for the city.
"After the relaxation given by the government in specific sectors, people started taking the spread of COVID 19 on a lighter note. Despite the government regular alerts, we see 2 people moving out on the two-wheelers also. The traffic movement in Hyderabad also little hiked what I felt when I was out for the groceries in my area. I was also told from sources that traffic police have started operating traffic singles in few important junctions. We should be aware that governments had extended lockdown to control the community spread of the virus and allowed only a few sectors to work to keep up the economy run but it doesn't mean COVID 19 evacuated from the nation. We should be more responsible in this last stage of our Fight against Corona," said, Rohith Vakrala, a resident of Alwal.
"All of us should admit that social distancing is the only remedy right now to combat with the deadly virus. Anyhow considering struggling economic conditions, the central government has given certain exemptions last week. It is clearly visible that most of the citizens have been misusing these exemptions. The lines before the wine shop outlets clearly explain and also increase of vehicular movement. If this continues, very soon cases would rise in the country. The citizen should understand that all norms which government has made are for the well being of all people," said Sriharshitha Chada, a resident of Boduppal.
"Vehicular movement have an increase in the city in these two days and many people are venturing out without any valid reason at the various junction. As people wait for enforcement to do something rather than to do themselves. All the necessary restriction which the government has put is for our own good," said Murali Krishna, a resident of Bolarum.
